We are Family focused and We help move both Drayage / Container Freight, Refrigerated Freight, and Dry Freight either as a Truckload or LTL on time, every time to help our Drivers, Customers and owner operators be more successful. Full job description
At ID Noble, we help customers, large and small with their Freight or load transportation need. This position involves operating a tractor trailer combination and driver must possess a CDL A Driver License, a TWIC Card is preferred but Not Required. Professional Driver is responsible for hauling; Drayage or container loads through the use of Container Chassis from Ocean Ports and Rail yards to customer locations and return the container back to the Ocean port or designated drop yard. Professional Driver will also operate Refrigerated (Reefer) Trailers and will pick up and drop off loads at customer locations. Professional drivers may encounter detention and/or layovers at Ocean Ports and customer locations. Professional Drivers is responsible for handling these detentions and/or layovers by being patient and professional and will be compensated for reported and approved detentions and layovers.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid Commercial Driver’s License Class A
- TWIC CARD Preferred Not Required (Driver must be able to obtain TWIC Card within 1 months of employment)
- No clearinghouse violations
- Must not have been terminated from the last job due to safety issues.
- No DUI convictions in CMV within the last three years
- No driver’s license suspensions within the last two years
- No DUI convictions in non-CMV within three years
- Must pass a drug test.
- No at-fault, preventable accidents within the last 2 years period
- No serious at-fault accidents that resulted in significant damage or bodily injury within the last two years.
- No DOT recordable accidents such as rollover, jackknife, or run under bridge within the last two years.
- Must not have failed any drug test in the last 2 years.
- Must pass a full background check and drug test.
Duties:
- Safely operate your truck while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Pickup Container Chassis, take chassis to Ocean Port and Rail Yard to pick up either a refrigerated container or dry container and haul this container to customer locations to be unloaded by customer and bring back container to the Ocean Port, Rail Yard and/or designated location and then return chassis to the pickup location.
- Pickup 53 ft Refrigerated or dry trailer from drop yard. Take Refrigerated or dry trailer to customer location, where customer will load the trailer, then Professional Driver will take the Loaded trailer to the receiving / delivery location where customer will unload the trailer and driver then returns the trailer to the drop yard or next customer location for pickup as directed by dispatching team.
- Perform and document routine inspections and maintenance on your truck.
- Safely Secure cargo and containers as necessary.
- Efficiently navigate routes and follow pickup and delivery schedules to ensure timely pickup and delivery of goods and containers.
